Most people with anxiety think of it as something that happens to them rather than something that they do. So the question, "How do you know when to have an anxiety attack?", seems very odd. However, since the anxiety is not present 24/7 then clearly some part of you knows when to have it.
If you want to change you have to take total responsibility for the process of change and also for your problems. However, you can't take responsibility for something that "just happens". So in this next section you will learn to identify for yourself all the stages and components of your anxiety experience. Once you do that, you can take charge of your anxiety, instead of it taking charge of you.
In the following modules I will be teaching you effective and novel ways of reducing anxiety..
